Robert Machray


Robert Machray has been awarded the inaugural Michael McCarty Recognition Award. In fact he was designated the winner by Michael McCarty in his will which also established the criteria for this award in his name. Robert Machray has been in an actor since 1983 and has performed in theater across the country settling in Los Angeles, working at Musical Theatre West and as a voice actor with Innovative Artists. He is an actor’s actor, teaching in various institutions in addition to his longtime acting career. Machray was also a screen actor and perhaps best known for his roles in The Master of Disguise (2002), Cutting Class (1989) and Christmas in Connecticut (1992).
